Histochemical investigation on the sweat gland of cattle. Especially on the distribution of protein, mucopolysaccharide, lipid and phosphatases

Abstract

The cattle sweat gland in the skin of the nasal region, external auditory meatus, mental region, cervical region, dorsal region, abdominal region, circumanal region and limbs (the distal part of the second phalanx) were investigated histochemically by using Heidenhain's iron hematoxylin staining, Hg-BPB staining, PAS reaction, sudan black staining and alkaline and acid phosphatase reactions.
