Abstract
The kidney of a Japanese frog was studied histochemically. The glomeruli reacted intensely to various staining methods. The cilia of the first and third portion of the urinary tubule showed strong reaction of protein. The stainability of the second portion of the urinary tubule was intenser than the other portions, and ketoenol substances existed in it. The ketoenol substances existed most numerous in the fourth and fifth portion of the urinary tubule.
