Abstract
FTD(Fischer-Tropsch Diesel) and Hydrotreated Bio Diesel Fuel(BDF) have focused on the effects on reduction of emissions from diesel engines, though various alternative fuels have been developed. FTD and Hydrotreated BDF are paraffinic fuels and have different components from those of conventional gas oil. This paper describes the results of long-term field trials of these fuels using commercial buses without any modifications.
