Abstract
The fatty acid methyl ester which is called the Biodiesel fuel (BDF) is easy to oxidize deteriorate. This is due the fact that the unsaturated fatty acid methyl ester which has carbon double bond alkyl ester. As a result, plugging of nozzle-orifice and metal corrosion of fuel injection system are caused with the deteriorated product. To control this oxidation deterioration, the antioxidant is added in BDF. This paper describes the characteristics of antioxidant for B100 and B5. And the synergy effect of two antioxidants mixing addition is introduced.
