Abstract

Japan is a sleepless country in the world. The social structure is always complicated and it is difficult to secure sleep due to labor shortage and long working hours. Therefore, it is important to improve the quality of sleep, and we focused on the meal. In particular, lipids such as omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids and choline compounds are related with central functions. This review introduces the author’s studies and the relationship between lipid intake and sleep.
