This is a report of an unusal case in which a 29-year-old female developed flue symptoms, i.e. fever, sorethroat and hoarseness soon suffered from dyspnea, for which tracheotomy was done.
The dyspnea, persisted even after the tracheotomy, finally induced labor in this female at 9 months of pregnancy.
A baby was delivered alive, but the patient died 16 hours after the delivery because of respiratory distress.
The author underlined that utmost care should be practised in dealing with ENT diseases in pregnant females.
