This paper deals with our experiences on the intravenous administration of Eunal to a series of 20 out-patients in our clinic.
Eunal is a non-barbiturate drug of ultra-short acting, characteristic of prominent simplicity in its induction and management for clinical use. Furthermore, this anesthetic agent has no significant side effect, with rapid recovery. The patient was able to return home an hour after operation.
From the above-mentioned facts, the auther gathered that Eunal was the superior agent available for intravenous anesthesia in case of minor operations or examinations of short duration (2-5 minutes), in the way that it proved itself to be a much safer drug than barbiturates previously used.
