Abstract
Pulsatile tinnitus is synchronous with the pulse, and the causes are classified into local diseases and systemic diseases.
Systemic disease-induced pulsatile tinnitus is associated with hemodynamic changes and may be caused by anemia, hyperthyroidism, beri-beri (vitamin B1 deficiency), pheochromocytoma, and pregnancy. Systemic disease-induced pulsatile tinnitus is very rarely heard objectively. In this article, we reported a patient with objective pulsatile tinnitus in the left ear caused by uterine myoma associated with metrorrhagia and anemia. The tinnitus improved after uterine myomectomy and improvement of anemia.
