Abstract

Human resource development is a medium- and long-term issue. Japan faces both a declining number of children and a decreasing number of undergraduate students of engineering, which will undermine its long-term policy to build a country based on science and technology. The report summarizes discussions and suggestions on how to develop human resources in the medium- and long-term made by the Human Resource Development Cluster.
