Abstract

Development of faculties for a common education program of risk management has been done as a project in 2006 selected by the Ministry of Education in the program of promoting internationalization of Japanese universities. Ten faculty staffs in and around the Risk Engineering Department at the University of Tsukuba and two Ph.D. program students visited several universities in the United States. They also developed a model curriculum of the risk management as a common education program designed for all students in a university. These activities are summarized in this report.
