Abstract
Many companies suffered severe damages from the Higashi Nihon Great Earthquake, but companies which have a BCP could recover from damages relatively in a short term. BCM, including BCP as its core function, was introduced in Japan years ago, but only a part of big companies introduced it. One reason is that companies are difficult to imagine possible damages in disasters. We have proposed an information system that supports planning a BCP based on proper imagination of damages. The system includes functions: a) simulation of possible damages each company may suffer according to the progress of a disaster, b) estimation of damage based on a simulation, from a viewpoint of compensation of loss, c) decision support of judging what countermeasure needs to be taken preferentially, d) planning support of countermeasures, e) estimation of damages if a disaster occurs while taking countermeasures, f) detailed action plan support of each personnel in a disaster, and g) research method of collecting possible behavior patterns of personnel in a disaster.
