National Statistics Center has started the initiative in promoting statistical literacy with a
framework including a series of 3 activities since 2018. These activities are developing and disseminating
SSDSE (Standardized Statistical Data Set for Education), preparing educational materials using
the SSDSE, and holding an annual data analysis competition which also uses the SSDSE. This
framework has potential to promote the use of official statistics, to make chances discovering interests
in data analysis, and to rise positive attitudes to learn.
