Possibilities of Mobile Big-Data in the Age of COVID-19

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has changed the way of life all over the world, and Japan is no exception. Consequently, it has brought about significant changes in the flow of people. For the future revival and development of society and industry, we must have a precise understanding of the changes caused by COVID-19 and adapt to them. In such conditions, mobile big-data are attracting attention to analyze the flow of people. In this paper, we present an overview of NTT DOCOMO's “Mobile Spatial Statistics (MSS) ” as one of the mobile big-data and its possibilities in the Age of COVID-19.
