Simulations using the System Dynamics (SD) model are widely recognized in Europe and the US as an effective method for solving a wide range of issues in companies and organizations. Randers, Richardson and Pugh, Forrester, Forrester and Senge, Barlas, Sterman, and Martinez-Moyano and Richardson have studied the SD modeling process. This study analyzes the contributions of these studies and clarify the scope for future research on the SD model creation process.
