This paper describes a qualitative diagnostic method of a large-scale circulatory system model. We use Coleman's dynamic model HUMAN, which consists of 25 physiological modules, over 200 variables and over 100 parameters. In order to make definite causal relations among variables effectively, the sensitivity analysis and the structural analysis are applied to the HUMAN model. The sensitivity analysis simplifies the complex model by removing weak causal relationships, and the structural analysis visualizes hierarchical relationships among variables.
