抄録

When we evaluate an information system by fuzzy inference, the number of fuzzy rules becomes a lot in general.In this paper, we have tried to obtain the solution on this problem by using rough sets theory. We apply the concept of rough sets to diabetes data for the sake of the solution on this problem and indicate that we can get better results by fuzzy rules obtained by using rough sets than those of Fisher's linear discrimination method and quadratic discrimination method on multivariate data analysis. In addition, we compare some fuzzy reasoning methods.
