抄録

In the recent years, Information Technology develops a biometrics authentication to every service in our life. In this article, we propose a facial image authentication method by distance between each feature points using self-organizing maps (SOM). In order to evaluate our proposal method, we discussed the accuracy of the facial image authentication by the experiment. In the result of the evaluation, authentication rate of the proposal method by distances between each feature points was 100%. For this reason, we confirmed ejfectivity of our method.
