There is a disease called osteoarthritis of the knee causing pain in that knee cartilage wear down, is that the load on the knee is large problem. In walking, the knee has been found that it takes the largest torque when heel strike. In the present study was carried out to reduce the torque applied to the knee joint by to assist the knee at the time of the ground by a motor that reproduces the spring effect. As a first step, the movement of the knee performed experiments reproduced by the motor was found to reduce the torque at the ground. Produced a brace fitted with a motor, it is scheduled to perform the assist experiment.
