We have established a fuzzy set cloning to identify histo-regulatory protein. For the first step, we have screened cDNA library using antibody against basement membrane. For the defuzzyfication we checked obtained cDNA clones (32 positives) on Northern blots using purified mRNA obtained from fibrogenic liver of rats. One of the clone activelytranscribed at 3 hrs after CCl4 injection was sequenced, and identifiedas profilin cDNA.
