Recently, high power ultrasound has been used in several fields. For example, high intensity therapeutic ultrasound (HITU) has been used in medical therapy field. Also, high power ultrasound and acoustic cavitation is used in sonochemistry. Therefore, a standard for high ultrasonic power is required for measurement and control. We have been started to develop the high ultrasonic power standard. In previous study, we reported that heat dissipation of ultrasound transducer affected calorimetric method in an adverse way. Water temperature was measured excessively by effect of heat by internal loss in ultrasound transducer. In this paper, we investigated the effect of dissolved oxygen level of distilled water. We presented that the radiation conductance measured by the calorimetric method using degassed water was lower than that for saturated water, and this difference is attributed to the difference in specific heat capacity between degassed and saturated water. In the future work, this will be further investigated together with the systematic differences in values measured by the RFB method and the calorimetric method.
