Abstract
We have investigated on preparation and characterization of bioactive porous ceramics with highly controlled pore-size. A colloidal crystal templating method was selected to prepare three-dimensionally ordered macroporous structures containing uniform pore size. This work was done to investigate influence of size change of polystyrene spheres as the templates on pore sizes of the porous specimens. Polystyrene spheres with four kinds of size for template and ACP sol or TCP suspension for pouring raw materials were used. The pore size of the porous specimens can be highly controlled by changing the size of polystyrene spheres used as the templates.
