Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of electric field on the crystallization of ferroelectric film. (Pb, La)TiO3 (PLT) precursor solutions were prepared using lead acetate trihydrate, titanium isopropoxide and lanthanum acetate hydrate. PLT thin films were deposited on Pt/glass substrates by spin coating. After drying and pre-annealing, the amorphus films were annealed at 500°C under electric field. By the applied electric field, the XRD intensities for the (001) and (100) planes of the perovskite were increased to show the preferred orientation.
