Abstract

ZnO micropatterns were fabricated by using phenyl/OH-terminated self-assembled monolayer (SAM) template through electroless deposition process only on the regions where the Pd catalyst adhered to the phenyl-surfaces. The deposition process of ZnO on the catalyzed substrates was observed and the mechanism was discussed.
