Preparation of porous TiO₂ films using the sol containing organic compound

Abstract

To obtain porous titanium dioxide film, the precursor which contained the sol and trehalose was prepared by sol-gel method. The porous titanium dioxide film was prepared by dip-coating technique on glass substrate with this solution. The film was composed of nano sized particles (20 nm). The maximum thickness of the film prepared by one-run dip-coating was ca. 640 nm.
