Abstract
Electrophoretic deposition is an effective forming technique to fabricate the dense and porous ceramics. In this study, the green samples of alumina and zirconia ceramics were fabricated by this EPD method. Green bodies prepared by EPD method were sintered by pressureless sintering at 1100∼1300°C. The microstructures were observed by SEM. These results suggested that the porous microstructures were dependent on pH of suspension and current/voltage.
