3D reinforced C/C composite gas turbine disk of 450mm diameter with 40mm thickness was fabricated and spin test of this disk was carried out. This disk was consisted of 3D carbon fiber structure with CVIed SiC composite microstructures and it found that 500m/s circumferential speed was achieved by spin test and this value is the fastest speed recorded by two or three dimentional reinforcement C/C composites. This paper presents fabrication procedure of this disk and it mechanical properties.
