Abstract
Various studies have been reported on the chemical processing under a high magnetic fields. In the present study, porous ceramics bodies were fabricated through slip casting of hydroxyapatite based ceramics slurries under a high magnetic field and subsequently, their ceramic compactions were sintered at 1000∼1300°C without a high magnetic field. Additionally, hydroxyapatite based ceramics were in-situ sintered at 1000∼1300°C under a high magnetic field. The microstructures of both ceramics sintered bodies were evaluated by XRD technique and SEM observation. The effect of a high magnetic field on microstructure of ceramics was mainly investigated.
