Relationship between lattice mismatch and magnetic properties of epitaxial nickel zinc ferrite thin films

Abstract

Epitaxial nickel-zinc-ferrite (NZF) thin films were deposited on various buffer layers and the effect of lattice mismatch on the magnetic properties, especially, squarness (Mr/Ms) was systematically examined. It was suggested that Mr/Ms was increased with lattice mismatch. NZF thin film deposited on ZnCo2O4 composition buffer layer showed high Mr/Ms value.
