Perovskite 0.94(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.06BaTiO3 is one of the most important candidates for lead-free piezoelectric ceramics. But the properties are still big lower than PZT ceramics after several years study due to its intrinsic structure. In the present work, we will introduce the experimental results on preparation of grain-oriented 0.94(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.06BaTiO3-based ceramics by magnetic alignment techniques. The synthesis of modified single crystalline ceramic particles, slip-casting in high magnetic field and resulted microstructure will be described.
