Abstract
Effect of Sr and Sc substitutions for La and Nb on crystal structure and electrical conductivity of Ba2LaNbO6 and Sr2LaNbO6 ceramics was investigated in this study. From the result of XRPD, it was clarified that(Ba,Sr)2(La1-xSrx)(Nb1-yScy)O6-z was single phase which correspond to a double perovskite structure. As for the evaluation of electrical conductivity, it was found that Sr and Sc substitutions for La and Nb were effective in improving the electrical conductivity of the ceramics. This result may be due to the oxygen vacancy caused by the differences in the electric charge in Sr, Sc, La and Nb cations.
