抄録

Man-made soil type on greenery land is classified from the view point tree growth. Growth ratio of tree hight and trunk girth was in high level on loam and ando-sol, was middle on clayey, sandy and coarsey soil and was low on dredged soil, rocky soil and subsoil. Physical charactor of man-made soil was not uniformly appeared and rappidly changed. In big scale land remodeling, the surface nature of the soil affected to planting bed soil condition. Tree vitality was an availble indicator of the land potential. This land potential was relatively high on the combination of high permeable soil and impermeable subsoil.
