This case report describes a patient-centered periodontal treatment approach for a female patient with right hemiplegia and global aphasia following a cerebral hemorrhage who presented with generalized periodontitis (Stage III, Grade C). Dental hygienists supported the patient using visual feedback, individualized oral hygiene instructions, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This treatment approach yielded significant improvements in important periodontal indices (PCR, BOP, and PISA), increased patient motivation, and enhanced oral function and aesthetics. These findings suggest that personalized care and the use of adaptive tools are crucial for improving the oral health and quality of life in patients with physical and communicative impairments.
