(1) The “Kuwazu”. “Kuiyami” and “Kiriyoi” diseases among cattle in Japan may be due to the vitamin B₁₂ deficiency owing to the absence of vitamin B₁₂-producing Actinomycetes in vivo caused by certain external conditions.
(2) The vitamin B₁₂-deficiency in cattle and biosynthesis in vivo of this vitamin seem to be in the following relation:
