Abstract

A sialoglycopeptide released by chymotrypsin from human erythrocytes interacts with toluidine blue, bovine albumin and sodium chloride. The interaction belongs to a reversible semipolar (or an ionic) bond reaction. It is suggested that the sialoglycopeptide exhibits a cation-exchange behaviour.
