Abstract
(1) Principles and course of development of tension recoding were outlined.
(2) The structure, character and application of mechano-electronic transducer (RCA 5734) was introduced.
(3) With the recording set using 5734, the tension curve of single muscle fiber prepared from sartorius muscle of toad under isotonic condition was recorded satisfactorily.
