Abstract
Nematolyt which is kerationlytic enzyme drug has the following effects. 1. It brings forth the vermicidal effect by destroying and perishing and further dissolving quickly the cuticles of hog-ascarid, earthworm and leech. 2. When carrying out “Oral Administration”, it does not conspicuously change the mucous membrane of rabbit's alimentary canal. 3. The toxin of hog-ascarid, destroyed and seized by Nematolyt, makes the rabbit's red corpuscle resistance conspicuously decreased, and eosinophils increased. 4. It is also effective upon Cestoda in vitro or in vivo, but its efficacy, being weak, is much less than upon Nematoda. 5. Its efficacy, when lost in acid-liquid (pH 2.0), is irreversible. 6. Its action is bereaved by the liquid decocted from Maglolia hypoleuca. This process of function will be studied someday.
