Abstract
In vitro inhibitory effect of chloramphenicol, oleandomycin, neomycin neomycin and kanamycin to the newly isolated 30 strains of staphyloccoci was investigated. Experments were carried out by the combination of two antibiotics of them in various concentrations using liquid media and both bacteriostatic and bactericidal action of them were observed. The combined effects were seen every combinations for 30 to 50% of the test strains. Specially effective combination was not found. In some cases, combined effects were changed by time, and sometimes bacteriostatic action and bactericidal action of the same combination was not parallel.
