Task Visualization and Job Organization by "Color": Based on Structured Knowledge

Abstract

Specific ways about sharing of knowledge to handle is needed for develop human resources and better performance, because here is a lack of workers at manufacturing industry and service site due to an aging population in Japan. In those facilities, their works are structured by collaboration so describing their knowledge is difficult, and this difficulty prevents from sharing their knowledge accumulated from experience. So, we researched method for promote their reflective thinking and designed a new tools and activity program to visualization of nursing actions and work. Its aim is to empowerment one’s pride as worker and improvement to nursing service quality. Result of research, we found method for recording with the use of color for inscription their activity. Through to use this system, they are sure to find their dynamism of nursing work. Now, we and practitioner of nursing were able to reach the starting line of co-design process. In this paper, we propose a system named “Care dignity” as output of this project and report a process of this design and research.
