Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present management theories, methodologies and cases from the previous studies to examine the potential use of Artificial Intelligence on value proposition. Firstly, we present the importance of implicit knowledge as management resource that has not been externalized as data. We also explain how implicit knowledge is utilized and generated an intrinsic value in a business situation referring to the cases of business ethnography. From these, we carefully consider what the intrinsic value co-creation through human understanding is, how we create it, and the feasibility whether we can apply Artificial Intelligence to create a value. During the discussion, we will present the thought-provoking topic regarding the difficulty of understanding the reasoning behind Artificial Intelligence's answer. Academically, we contribute by explaining the relationships among knowledge management, service theory and Artificial Intelligence.
