Abstract

Consumer Generated Media (CGM) consists of content provided by users. The condition for sustaining the provision of content is that the cost of content creation is outweighed by the psychological rewards from the reactions such as comments and like button from neighboring users. SNS-Norms game is a model that investigates the conditions for the survival of CGM. In this study, we propose a model in which agents in SNS -Norms game have opinions about the contents they post. The opinions assigned to the content posted by the agents and the opinions they hold are represented virtually in the vector space. The purpose of this study is to investigate the change in agents' opinions due to the formation of a community of agents with the same opinions and ideas, as in the eco-chamber phenomenon. The results show that agents change their opinions of posted contents according to the opinions of surrounding agents.
