The occurrence of Balanus eburneus Gould, an immigrant from the American Atlantic coast, along the Japan Sea side of central Japan is recorded for the first time, and the further spread of another European barnacle B. improvisus Darwin, introduced into the Pacific coast of central Japan earlier than 1957, is also recorded.
