The Joint Experiment Center For Water Purification on take Biwa and Yodo River

Abstract

Lake Biwa and Yodo River system has serious water quality problem which can not easily solved by only wastewater processing and discharge requirement, therefore research and development into technique for water purification of lakes and rivers are important subject. Now, the Ministry of Construction, the prefectures concerned and Water resource development public corporation are fully equipping the joint experiment center for water purification located on the shore of south Lake Biwa. The experiment center has plans which operate various large scale experiment on field relative to water purification, we expect that it will contribute stepping up the enterprise of water purification on public water bodies.
