The objective of spatial planning of waterside has been changed in order to minimize the distance between water and people. This means that people can easily enjoy river through human five senses. However, many examples of waterside have been tested in small areas but they failed when they were applied at a regional level.
In this paper, we discuss when and where and how to improve the model watersides at an urban river. Therefore, firstly we formulate the ground design mathematics model. And next, though case study at TURUMI river basin, we consider the optimal solution from some view points, equity, diversity, efficiency, and creativeness.
