Abstract
The diamond wire tool is a slicing tool that is fixed diamond grains on the thin core wire. The authors have been tried to make this diamond wire tool by Nickel plating method, but this plating method has a weak point about making speed. Therefore, this study aims to establish the high speed making method by plating. This report describes about the mechanism of the new high speed plating apparatus to make the diamond wire tool and the results of surface observations of the trial–made diamond wire tool. And, it is showed that this new high speed plating method effects for high speed making of diamond wire tool.
