Study of High-efficient Polishing System assisted by Ultrasonic Vibration

Abstract

A polishing system assisted by the ultrasonic vibration has been studied. A felt buff is attached on the polishing tool top and loose abrasives in slurry are supplied there. The polishing tool can be rotated independent with the ultrasonic movement. A polishing state in the tool top is observed, and the polishing mechanism is examined. It reports on the effect of polishing.
