Development of microorganism type micromachine that uses polymer emulsion

Abstract

Recently, minute works using the micromachine are expected by the development of the microfabrication technology. In this research, we′re challenging the development of the amoeba type micromachine that had added the drug delivery system in the medical treatment. This mechanism of mother′s body is the polymer gel that is enclosing of the magnetic substance internally. It moves while transforming shape by irradiating an external magnetic field and minute work is done. In this report, we described the performance and the result of the basic examination.
