Abstract
Evaluation of mental workload (MWL) is important for supporting human in cell-production system. Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA) is useful index to evaluate MWL, for it is unique one to estimate cardiac vagal activity. We have proposed the phase domain analysis to estimate vagal activity, and succeeded in real-time extraction of RSA and tried to control workload. In this report, for the introduction of RSA into workers on the desk, we experimented about the extraction of the data of respiration with various methods and the influence of subject′s motions.
