Abstract
A metabolic system for water-soluble coolant has been developing. The metabolic system can isolates the oily additives from spent water-soluble coolant. The purification method using a biological activated carbon filtration showed a very high recovery rate of water resource, more than 90%, from various kinds of water-soluble coolant. If the purification system was incorporated into the existing processing system, an environmental conscious processing system, that has a small rate of coolant consumption equivalents to MQL system, would be realized using the conventional processing methods.
