Study on Reliability of Linear Bearing

Abstract

The crowning provided at the both ends of the raceway of linear bearing guide block decides all sorts of bearing performances those are load capacity, rigidity and life etc. by its shape. For Linear Motion Ball Guide and Roller Guide which are the kinds of linear bearings, this report introduces the theoretical load distribution and the analyzed result of the various types of crowning given to the guide block.
