Manufacturing Templates Construction from XML based Difinitions on Manufacturing Cases

Abstract

We have accumulated welding cases in XML. This report examines the variations of data among the cases based on the welding process patterns and welding engineers. From the experiments, several information models has been extracted, which can be characterized as a detailed data of the cases. This shows the possibility to support the accumulation of manufacturing at the shop floor substantially by constructing manufacturing templates from the cases.
